A Practice Built on Expertise, Now Ready for Its Next Chapter
Since 2003, Health Legal has provided Australia’s health sector with highly specialised legal support, trusted for its expertise, precision and deep sector understanding. With CEO and Director Natalie Franks repeatedly recognised in Best Lawyers™ Australia, including three “Lawyer of the Year” awards, the firm has earned a reputation for excellence across Health and Aged Care law.
When the business purchased its own building, it presented an opportunity to bring the team together under one roof and create a workplace that truly reflected the calibre of the work they deliver.
A Space That Embodies Trust and Discretion
Health Legal wanted more than just a functional office; they wanted a space that honoured their brand, elevated their presence and provided a considered, comfortable environment for their lawyers and clients.
The new workplace needed to feel professional, but with personality. A warm, human-centred and inherently trustworthy office space. This fitout was also an investment in their people, giving staff a workplace that reflected the value they bring to the clients they support daily.

A Quietly Confident Office Fitout
The design direction centred on a natural, minimalist palette that balances refinement with warmth. Timber textures, muted tones and soft architectural lines create a sense of calm from the moment you arrive.
Black-framed glazed partitions define the offices and meeting rooms, offering openness while maintaining the acoustic privacy essential to legal practice. Perforated timber ceilings and carefully selected feature lighting add depth and texture throughout, creating a serene and composed environment.
The overall space feels intentional; restrained yet welcoming, polished yet warm.
Spaces That Support Focus, Collaboration and Wellbeing
Purposeful office space planning ensures Health Legal can effectively utilise every square meter of their new space. Workstations are arranged to balance collaboration with quiet focus, while planter units, task chairs and natural light soften the environment and support everyday comfort.
In the kitchen and bar area, the atmosphere shifts to something more relaxed and communal. Timber blade overheads, stone benchtops and warm lighting offer a place for staff to unwind, connect and recharge. Dining tables and bar seating encourage team moments that fall outside the formal structure of legal practice, bringing a sense of balance to the workday.
