A New Home for a Firm on the Rise
Margalit Lawyers engaged us to create a new headquarters that reflects both their current success and their next chapter of growth. Having now partnered across three workplace moves, this project marked a milestone in our partnership: a contemporary CBD office overlooking the law courts, designed as a confident statement of the firm they’ve become.
Warm, Understated and Welcoming
The design brief was centred around creating a workplace that felt sophisticated yet warm; professional enough for serious discussions, but calm and reassuring for clients who may be dealing with challenging circumstances.
We used a layered palette of greys, textured finishes and soft lighting to create a space that feels grounded, timeless and aligned with the firm’s brand identity. The result is an environment that is polished without being overly cold or clinical.

Designed Around How Lawyers Really Work
Legal workplaces rely on intelligent planning, and this design supports the rhythms and realities of the profession. Private offices and acoustically treated meeting rooms provide a confidential setting for sensitive matters, while open work areas allow the team to collaborate and stay connected.
The layout intentionally balances focus, privacy and interaction, giving the team the right spaces to focus on complex casework while still allowing the office to feel open, comfortable and inviting.

Transforming an Older Tenancy into a Modern Legal Space
The tenancy at William Street offered an exceptional address, but required significant redevelopment to meet the expectations of a contemporary practice. The project included a full strip-out, upgrades to services such as HVAC and lighting, a new layout, custom joinery and complete construction delivery — all within a 10-week window.
Close collaboration with Margalit’s internal project lead ensured decisions were made efficiently, keeping the program tight and the project on budget.
