A New Space Aligned With a Clear Purpose
Smith Feutrill’s new office reflects the firm’s guiding belief: clients should feel confident, supported, and ultimately “better off financially”. The design set out to translate that promise into the physical environment, creating a workplace that feels intelligent, modern and deeply client-centric, without ever slipping into corporate coldness.
First Impressions That Matter
The journey begins at reception, where a custom curved desk in soft stone-grey immediately sets the tone. Paired with architectural lighting and clean lines, this arrival moment communicates professionalism and approachability in equal measure. Clients feel welcomed, not overwhelmed, and staff gain a landmark space that sets the standard for the rest of the office.
A Calm, Neutral Palette With Substance
Inside, the workspace is defined by a restrained palette of white, charcoals and layered greys. Rather than feeling flat or predictable, these tones deliver serenity and focus; a grounding backdrop for conversations that often deal with big life decisions and financial clarity.
To bring personality into the restrained aesthetic, the office features bold artwork depicting iconic Melbourne landmarks, grounding the workplace in the city it serves. Lush indoor greenery adds warmth and texture, helping the office feel more like an environment designed for people, not just processes. Branding is woven in gently through backlit signage, integrated accent tones and finishes that align with Smith Feutrill’s identity.

Private and Collaborative Spaces
Financial conversations are often sensitive, but that doesn’t mean the workplace should feel closed or disconnected. Frosted glass meeting rooms strike that delicate balance, maintaining a sense of transparency and openness while still giving clients acoustic and visual privacy.
The result is an environment that feels open and welcoming, but always respectful of discretion.
