Duralift

Duralift is a one of our machinery hire business suppliers that we get all our scissor lifts, booms and all our machinery for fitouts from. Working alongside them and watching them grow together with us has been a great journey, therefore we were happy to uplift and refresh their space when they asked for our help.

More Natural Light

Duralift's existing space was traditional, tight and closed off with a lot of separated areas and fixed plaster which restricted natural light. Their building was located and positioned where two sides of it hit a lot of natural light, but due to the plaster blocking off and restricting the natural light coming through. We focused on building infrastructure and stripping out their existing office to ensure that heaps of natural light was flowing throughout the building as well as opening the workplace up with a more modern approach and the ability to see outside.

Welcoming Office Space

We also took into consideration the layout of the office to ensure it was a welcoming and open space for clients to come into. We wanted them to see the reception featured at the front, and a big timber bladed feature wall behind it. This also allowed for natural light to come into the reception and waiting area. We positioned the bladed wall behind the reception desk so that people could see the open plan nature of the workspace, which reflects the businesses open form of communication and welcoming nature.

Modern and Corporate Feel

We built an office, meeting rooms and replaced the floor coverings, going with a more traditional corporate style office with charcoal grey floorings, white open plan desk and incorporated nice greenery and plants to give it a sense of openness and liveliness. We used black framing throughout the space to set off the charcoal carpet which gave a modern and corporate feel.

A Garden View

We opened up the space and removed the offices, so it became a spacious open plan area. When we removed the plastering to allow for more natural light, we noticed the garden outside needed to be cared for, so the employees had a more enjoyable view, so we fixed it up and also made room for more natural light coming in. Their offices and meeting rooms were positioned towards the back of the building which allows for more workstations in the open plan area to improve growth overtime and optimise the space.

The Final Result

Duralift was very happy with the result and so were we, we have a great relationship with them and are happy to still have an ongoing relationship with them now.

Design Phase

Our Consultant and Designer meet with you to discuss your business fitout needs and get a clear perspective on your vision. We will discuss your requirements and what challenges you are currently facing with your workspace; whether it’s a size issue, a functionality improvement or simply a workspace update, we will work with you to find the most suitable commercial fitout solution for your requirements and budget.

Proposal

We prepare proposals based on the brief from the initial meeting where we go through and plan the look and feel of the proposed business fitout project. This is where we get feedback from you so we can proceed to the next step. We offer cost effective solutions for an affordable fitout, so your budget is always top of mind.

Site Commencement

All costs are agreed upon during this stage and the outline of the project and timelines are discussed. We organise all relevant permits to be approved and issue you with a final Construction Set, Fixtures and Finishes Schedule and a Project Schedule.

Construction

We carefully source and recruit the right contractors for each fitout construction job. We work with our team of Designers and suppliers to ensure consistency across the look and feel of the project, and conduct weekly site visits with you so you can check in on the fitout and how it is coming together.

At completion, we conduct a handover to you after ensuring you’ve had a thorough walk through of the new space and make sure you are happy with your completed project. We continue to work with you to take care of any additional needs and ensure they are resolved in readiness for your relocation.
