Fredon is an electrical service provider, who are committed to developing & maintaining long-lasting relationships with their clients, and consistently delivering on quality. And like them, we hope for our office fitouts to serve that same purpose. In this instance, we were given the opportunity to modernise their office space for staff returning to work and foster a comfortable environment for clients to visit and connect. Read on to see how.

First impressions are a must when building and designing office fitouts. At Fredon, the reception and client meeting room are the first space they see when entering. Visitors are greeted with a curved stone reception desk, framed by a timber feature wall in the foreground. To generate further visual impact, a ruby feature carpet was used in the meeting room - also a nod to the client’s red branding.

Modernising the way we work through office fitouts was core to our floor-plan design. Previously, our client’s departments were working separately and often facing walls - they sought to change this and needed a space that would allow for greater productivity and collaboration. And so, when putting together the work-station layout design, we opted for an open plan office fitout, whereby staff could face inwards and towards each other, to encourage the intended unity between departments.

We too were able to collaborate with our client, Fredon, on building and designing their mechanical and electrical services. We were fortunate to have shared the same industry and construction expertise for this to occur and add value to our relationship. Where they needed to complete their HVAC and electrical installation, we were able to accommodate this in our project schedule - while still being able to deliver on time and a high standard.
