KKI are a partnership law firm located in Southbank on Riverside Quay, which made site visits enjoyable as we overlooked the stunning views of the Yarra River. We partnered with BRM Project who looked after the design, while we handled the build of the office fitout.

Sleek and Stylish Office

KKI wanted a sleek and stylish office that rebelled against the mundanity of traditional law firm office fitout design. BRM Project designed a professional office fitout that evoked a sense of sophistication and class. The big feature of this office fitout was the eye-catching stone reception counter that was installed, which informed the first impression of employees and clients as they entered the office space.

Perforated Ceiling Tiles

Within the reception area, meeting rooms and boardrooms featured perforated ceiling tiles that added visual interest and functionality to the office fitout. Additionally, we installed linear air conditioning grills that were custom made to deliver airflow whilst complimenting and tying in with the feature ceiling tiles.

Feature Woodwall Wallpaper

Along the curved walls of this office fitout, we applied feature woodwall wallpaper that added texture to the office place walls and complimented the black pole and off grey lounge chairs. In a similar manner, acoustic wall panelling was installed into the office fitout to mitigate noise and also acted aesthetically as a feature and break up the painted walls.

Pendant Lights

Feature pendant lights were installed throughout the front of house which were sourced and delivered all the way from Canada by Lambert & Fils. 

We incorporated wooden blades into the office fitout, to separate the open areas from the workstations. Furthermore, a  large staff kitchen was created to accommodate all the staff and we also created a custom neon sign ‘Kafe Kway’ which was a play on their brand name for the kitchen area.

Design Phase

Our Consultant and Designer meet with you to discuss your business fitout needs and get a clear perspective on your vision. We will discuss your requirements and what challenges you are currently facing with your workspace; whether it’s a size issue, a functionality improvement or simply a workspace update, we will work with you to find the most suitable commercial fitout solution for your requirements and budget.

Proposal

We prepare proposals based on the brief from the initial meeting where we go through and plan the look and feel of the proposed business fitout project. This is where we get feedback from you so we can proceed to the next step. We offer cost effective solutions for an affordable fitout, so your budget is always top of mind.

Site Commencement

All costs are agreed upon during this stage and the outline of the project and timelines are discussed. We organise all relevant permits to be approved and issue you with a final Construction Set, Fixtures and Finishes Schedule and a Project Schedule.

Construction

We carefully source and recruit the right contractors for each fitout construction job. We work with our team of Designers and suppliers to ensure consistency across the look and feel of the project, and conduct weekly site visits with you so you can check in on the fitout and how it is coming together.

At completion, we conduct a handover to you after ensuring you’ve had a thorough walk through of the new space and make sure you are happy with your completed project. We continue to work with you to take care of any additional needs and ensure they are resolved in readiness for your relocation.
